According to data from the eVisitor system, on June 11, 2026, four days earlier than last year, the Rovinj area recorded its one-millionth overnight stay.
From the beginning of the year to date, compared to the same period last year, the number of overnight stays increased by 10%, while the number of arrivals reached 248,428, representing a 5% increase compared to the previous year.
The largest share of overnight stays during this period was generated by German visitors, accounting for 30% of all overnight stays (25% more than in the same period last year), followed by Austrian visitors with a 16% share (5% more than in the same period last year), domestic guests with a 13% share (1% less than in the same period last year), Slovenian visitors with a 10% share (7% more than in the same period last year), and Serbian visitors with a 5% share (14% less than in the same period last year).
The highest number of overnight stays was recorded in campsites, accounting for 37% of the total, followed by hotels with a 35% share, private accommodation with 16%, and tourist resorts with 9%.
Currently, 22,536 guests are staying in our destination, with the largest numbers coming from Germany, Austria, and Italy.
